Poverty Measurement & Analysis

Kairi has had considerable experience in preparing National Reports of Living Conditions, the conduct of SLCs and country poverty assessments. Over the last twenty-four years, Kairi has conducted over twenty poverty related assessments and studies in most of the English-speaking countries of the Caribbean. It has completed ten full country poverty assessments for the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in various countries – Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Turks and Caicos Islands. In addition, Kairi was contracted to develop National Poverty Reduction Strategies for Saint Kitts and Nevis and Antigua and Barbuda to assist the Governments in arriving at specific, workable plans and actions to reduce poverty and vulnerability and enhance socioeconomic resilience.
